PC Tweaks v2.0

1. Download PC Tweaks

  • Download the latest version of the batch script. This should be a .zip file containing the script files.

2. Extract the Files

  • Once you've downloaded the .zip file, extract it to a folder of your choice. You can use a program like WinRAR or 7-Zip to extract the contents.

3. Run the Script

  • Inside the extracted folder, you should find the Tweaks v2.0 script (likely a .bat file).
  • Right-click on the .bat file and select Run as administrator. This is necessary because the script will be making changes to system settings.

4. Follow the On-Screen Menu

When the script starts running, you will see a command-line menu with various options. The options could include:

  • [1] Optimizations: Tweaks to improve system performance for gaming, such as disabling unnecessary services or adjusting system parameters.
  • [2] Hardware: Changes related to your hardware settings, such as GPU or CPU configurations.
  • [3] Windows: Optimizes your Windows operating system for better performance (e.g., disabling certain visual effects or background processes).
  • [4] Privacy: Adjusts privacy settings, likely disabling things like telemetry or data collection by Microsoft.
  • [5] Backup: Creates backups of important system settings before applying the tweaks, in case you need to revert.
  • [6] Advanced: This might contain more in-depth or risky tweaks for experienced users.
  • [7] Info: Displays information about the current version and any details about the script.

5. Select an Option

  • To choose an option, just type the corresponding number and press Enter. For example, if you want to apply optimizations, type 1 and press Enter.
  • The script will execute the tweaks for the selected option. Follow any prompts that may appear, and allow the script to finish.

6. Reboot Your System

  • After completing the tweaks, you might need to restart your computer for the changes to take full effect.

7. Revert Changes (Optional)

  • If you ever want to undo the changes, some scripts like this include a backup option to restore the system to its previous state. If you used the backup feature earlier, you can run the script again and restore the settings.

Tips for Using Tweaks:

  • Backup Important Data: Always back up important files or settings before making significant changes to your system.
  • Review the Documentation: Before using advanced features, be sure to read the readme or any documentation available in the GitHub repository to understand what each tweak does.
  • Test Performance: After applying the tweaks, test your system’s performance in a few games or applications to see the effect. You can adjust further if needed.
